Behind Us: 2005

Greetings:

We have only three children at home.

I continue the food coop and pick up odd jobs around the community.

Robin picked up a number of sewing projects, continues to teach and has joined the children in a community band.

Brian is improving his house and continues to work in carpentry. He still visits fairly often.  Brian is courting a local young woman.

Andrew has set up housekeeping in a house trailer on two acres in extreme south west Kentucky.  He is working in construction.  He is engaged to Eleasah Lamb and they have a wedding date of February 11, 2006!  He does not visit as often as Brian, but calls regularly.

Lydia is continuing to study and teach piano.  She is also becoming quite accomplished in photography.  She and Joel have begun voice training in addition to both working percussion (and Lydia keyboard) in the community band.

Joel has a well equipped and organized shop in the carport.  In addition to school, he began apprenticing with the local appliance repairman.

Daniel is a doing very well in school.  He practices hard on his baritone that he plays in the community band.

Robin and I and Lydia, Joel, and Daniel continue to follow the Biblical calendar.  Andrew is now also observing this calendar.

We enjoyed visiting friends in Missouri and Ohio.  We joined JoAnn for Earl's funeral and on a more happy note witnessed my father and Mary's wedding.

We enjoyed visits from grandparents, my sister and her family and friends from Pennsylvania.
