What Words are Central to the Hebrew Alphabet?
Why look?
- The Hebrew Language is thought to have been spoken in Eden, and shows evidence of being
foundational to all human speech.
- Hebrew Alphabet order (Aleph - Tav) and number of letters (22) is
seen in acrostic passages of Scripture, such as Psalm 119
- Hebrew letters have numerical values (1-400) in addition to their
sounds
Methods:
Results:
- Mathematically significant sets of letters occur only using eleven and twelve as common
denominators based on 22 letter alphabet.
- For eleven, the
one significant set includes the five letters of the Hebrew word
'Israel.'
- For twelve, the
one significant set includes the four letters of the Hebrew word
'Zion.'
- Israel is the
name of the Hebrew nation; Zion
is the spiritual name of the nation's capital.
Why is this important
to know?
- It is evidence that the alphabet was given to man by HaShem.
- These findings give evidence that His plan for Israel and Zion is
eternal.
- This should point to the Scriptures, such as Zechariah 12, as
pressure increases against Israel.
