Dear Reader,
My research entitled Israel and Zion are Central to the Hebrew Alphabet involves some math and is somewhat involved to communicate with the general public. The idea of the Hebrew alphabet and numbers can be confusing. Some wonder if it is simpler just to avoid the issue.
I see it more important to look at the actual written message of the Scriptures rather than hidden numbers or messages. I have not researched Bible Codes and have had to decide not to continue looking for mathematical patterns in the Scriptures because I have other responsibilities...like a family!
When the pattern in the alphabet itself became apparent to me, however, I wanted to share it with as many as possible. I have not been able to find anyone else who has published this. Three reasons I see this as important are:
* It provides evidence that the alphabet was given by the Creator.
* These findings show that His plan for Israel and Zion is eternal
* This should lead us to the Scriptures, such as Zechariah 12,
as current pressure against Israel increases.
You can walk through all my math at http://yahuah.org/IZCentral.html. However, here I present some highlights of my findings in a way that should be easier to understand.
Perhaps the easiest to see is how Zion relates to twelve in the Hebrew alphabet. I bolded the four letters of Zion.
1 Aleph
2 Beth
3 Gimel
4 Daleth
5 He
6 Vav
7 Zayin
8 Het
9 Teth
10 Yod
11 Kaf
12 Lamed
13 Mem
14 Nun
15 Samech
16 Ayin
17 Pe
18 Tsadi
19 Koph
20 Resh
21 Shin, Sin
22 Tav
Note that:
Zion is associated with 12 gates in the Scriptures.
For Israel, the complete pattern is somewhat more involved. The five letters of Israel are bolded.
1 Aleph
2 Beth
3 Gimel
4 Daleth
5 He
6 Vav
7 Zayin
8 Het
9 Teth
10 Yod
11 Kaf
12 Lamed
13 Mem
14 Nun
15 Samech
16 Ayin
17 Pe
18 Tsadi
19 Koph
20 Resh
21 Sin
22 Tav
The pattern of eleven is seen in 10 (yod) + 1 (aleph) = 11, 1 (aleph) + 21 (sin) = 22, 21 (sin) + 12 (lamed) = 33, 12 (lamed) + 10 (yod) = 22, and as the song "do, re, mi" goes, that brings us back to yod. Resh has a value of 200 in numerical value, so 200 (numerical value) + 20 (ordinal value) = 220 (total value). The five letters of Israel in the total value sum to 605, which factors to 5 * 11 * 11.
Eleven is first mentioned in the Scriptures in association with Jacob being named Israel.
I rejoice that the G-d of Israel testifies of His nation and the spiritual capital of His nation in the Hebrew alphabet that was given before either of these words was used in human history!
